2021 Trans Superior Yacht Race

The first finisher of the biennial Trans Superior International Yacht Race, a 350 mile race from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, to Duluth, passed under the Aerial Lift Bridge at about 1:30 this afternoon. The 70-foot yacht, Stripes, from Ann Arbor, MI, completed the race in 2 days, 35 min, 25 sec. There are approximately 40 yachts participating in this year’s race.
